Police investigating the circumstances surrounding a home invasion in St Helens Park overnight believe it may have been a targeted attack.

The incident occurred just before midnight last night.

Police say three men forced their way into a home on Dalkeith Place and threatened the two occupants with a machete.

The men ransacked the home before leaving the premises in the occupant’s 2010 model white Mitsubishi Lancer.

They took along with them a laptop, a mobile phone, some jewellery and an amount of cash.

The occupants of the home, a 31-year-old woman and the 34-year-old man were not hurt during the incident.

Detectives from Campbelltown Local Area Command are seeking information and would like members of the public to keep a lookout for the stolen vehicle with NSW registration BNL 71L.

Anyone with information should contact Campbelltown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
