The annual Spring into Nature walk and talk series kicks of tomorrow, Saturday, September 9 with a workshop designed for artists to sketch, paint and photograph the beauty of Dharawal National Park.
En Plein Air will be on between 10am and 2pm, and it will be a chance to shake off the winter chill.
Campbelltown City boasts pristine bushland, unspoilt waterways and prolific wildlife within a stone’s throw of where most locals live.
Council’s spring walk and talk series is a great way for locals to enjoy the great outdoors, experience and learn more about our amazing natural environment.
Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, said the walk and talk series gave locals the opportunity to make the most of our city’s natural environment.
“We’re lucky to live in an area which has all the modern conveniences of a city, and also provides limitless opportunities to get outdoors and connect with nature,” he said.
[social_quote duplicate=”no” align=”default”]“The walk and talk series is as diverse as our natural environment, offering opportunities for bushwalking, enjoying flora and birdlife, and learning about the importance of local pollinators.[/social_quote]
“I encourage locals to check out the Spring into Nature calendar and find an event or events which suit your interest.”
