Good news: Chris Hayes telling Share Care CEO Clare Pearson that their application for a grant had been successful.

Local children in wheelchairs and with mobility issues will now find it much easier to utilise Share Care’s  facility.

The local support group will receive a $7,000 grant which will go towards the installation of Astro Turf at their premises.

Share Care was successful in applying for a Stronger Communities funding grant.

Last week the Federal Member for Fowler, Chris Hayes, was able to deliver the news to Share Care’s CEO, Clare Pearson.

“I am delighted that Share Care has been successful in receiving this grant,” Mr Hayes said.

“Share Care has been providing help to children and young people with disability for more than 25 years.

“The laying of this turf will eliminate the uneven surface that the centre currently has, helping to minimise the risk of trips and falls of all the children who utilise the centre,” Mr Hayes said.
