Sold: this is the most expensive house in Glen Alpine after changing hands for $1.72 million last week

Paul Marantz has just sold a Glen Alpine property at a record price, but all he wants to do is thank the vendors and the buyers.

“Both the sellers and the buyers were fantastic to work with and I really want to thank them,’’ the McGrath real estate agent told the South West Voice.

Mr Marantz sold the Heritage Way owner builder home for $1.72 million, which is more than just the new record for a house in that suburb of Campbelltown.

It beat the previous record by a whopping $320,00.

“The buyers are a lovely local family who already live in Glen Alpine,’’ Mr Marantz said.

The luxurious home they will soon move into is on a 2,107sqm block and includes six bedroms, five bathrooms and a triple garage – and a stack of features, which include:

– spa ensuite in master bedroom, plus balcony and walk-in robes;
– Deluxe granite kitchen with high end appliances and walk-in pantry;
– Dramatic foyer, high ceilings and air conditioning;
– Ducted vacuum, video intercom and security alarm;
– Spacious covered entertaining terrace;
– Triple remote garage with drive through and internal access;
– Secure remote gated access and additional driveway parking;
– Inground solar and gas heated swimming pool.

The home is positioned on an elevated parcel with direct Campbelltown golf course access and views from front and rear.

It spans over two levels, which make it ideal for large or extended families.
