Wests Tigers NRL head coach Benji Marshall has confirmed his 22-man squad to take on the Parramatta Eels in the 2026 Easter Monday clash.
With plenty of wind in their sails after a memorable triumph over the Warriors in Auckland, the Tigers will look to make it two wins on the trot next Monday, April, 4:05pm at CommBank Stadium, Parramatta.
The lineup for the round five clash remains largely unchanged to the side that ran out 32-14 winners in Auckland, with Bunty Afoa coming in for Tristan Hope on the interchange bench, with Hope joining Tony Sukkar and Patrick Herbert in the reserves.
Adam Doueihi and Jock Madden remain paired in the halves after a dominant display across the ditch.
Especially from Doueihi, whose incredible effectiveness at seven has raised a lot of eyebrows, in a good way.
He’s been so good in there as the dominant half some people are starting to talk him up as an Origin bolter, at least on the bench as a utility.
But from a club point of view, Doueihi (pictured above), who has always been a quality player, his value to the team this year has been huge.
His performances so far have shown that Doueihi is determined to show the world is not a run of the mill half, as many had considered him to be for many years.
Even his kicking, which has been very good up until now, has gone up a level in 2026, giving the Tigers an extra weapon as they seek to play finals for the first time in more years than fans would care to remember.
The Tigers will need him at his best once again, against an Eels side hurting from another big loss last week – and their hunger to win these annual Easter Monday clashes.
