Oran Park stabbing may have been organised attack

A man was stabbed in Oran Park just after midnight in what police may have been a targeted attack.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command were called to Kingsley Street, Oran Park, about 12.25am to reports of a stabbing.

When police arrived, they found a man, aged 52, with a stab wound to his stomach and abrasions to his head and eye area.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics then taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Two crime scenes have now been established as detectives commence an investigation into the incident, with early indications suggesting the attack may be targeted.

A man hit by a car in Camden has died in hospital.

Police say that about 12.40am on Friday emergency services attended the Old Hume Highway, Camden, after reports a man had been struck by a vehicle.

A 21-year-old man was found suffering serious head injuries and suspected leg fractures.

He was taken to Liverpool Hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics in a critical condition.

The driver of a Holden Commodore, aged 17, was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing before being returned to Narellan Police Station.

He was later released pending further inquiries.

A crime scene was established by officers from Camden Police Area Command and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash commenced.

Police say they were informed the 21 year old had died in hospital on Saturday.

A report will now be prepared for the Coroner.
