A mountain bike park under construction near the heart of Campbelltown will deliver 8.3kmof track from a network of 13 new trails.

Work recently started on the Kanbyugal Parklands Mountain Bike Park project in Woodbine.

Once complete it will offer a new mountain bike destination.

The project will see the transformation of an underutilised space into a place where riders of all ages and abilities can get moving, build confidence and enjoy the outdoors.

“This is going to be a fantastic new space for our community, giving residents of all ages a fun and active way to spend time outdoors right here in Campbelltown,’’ says Mayor Darcy Lound.

“This project is a great investment in an outdoor recreation space that will create a destination for people from all over the Macarthur region to enjoy and utilise,” said Cr Lound.

Mayor Lound joined Campbelltown MP Greg Warren for the sod turning ceremony on site, as the $1.5 million project is a joint venture between council and the NSW Government.

“What this means, is the ongoing commitment of the NSW Government to work with Campbelltown Council to invest in our local community and build a better Campbelltown for all,” Mr Warren said.

Kanbyugal Parklands Mountain Bike Park will include:

  • Trails for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders
  • Upgrades to existing tracks
  • A dedicated extreme riding area

The project is expected to be completed by late 2026.
