Health concerns for missing Picton man

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from outer South Western Sydney.

Aaron O’Brien, aged 31, was last seen on Christmas Eve in the Picton area.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

The missing man, pictured, is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 180cm tall, of medium build, with red/ginger hair and brown eyes.

Aaron may be driving a White Toyota HiLux Utility NSW registration number CY04BT or a black Toyota HiLux NSW registration number EBJ77U.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to health issues.

Anyone who sees Aaron, or believes they know his whereabouts, is urged to contact Camden police or Crime Stoppers.

Police are appealing for public assistance and have now released CCTV images following a carjacking in Eagle Vale last year.

About 1.30am on Sunday, December 20, a 32-year-old man was driving his Hyundai Getz into a fast food outlet drive-through on Gould Road, Eagle Vale, when he was approached by a man armed with a handgun.

The man forced the driver out of the vehicle and drove away from the scene towards Dolomite Place.

The driver alerted nearby staff from the restaurant and police were contacted. He was not injured.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Later that morning about 2.50am, the Hyundai Getz was located at Eagle Farm Reserve, Eagle Vale. The car was seized for forensic examination.

Detectives have now released CCTV of a man who they believe could assist with their inquiries.

The man is depicted as being of a Caucasian appearance, slim build, dressed in all black, wearing ski goggles and a black face covering.

As inquiries continue, anyone who may have information are urged to contact Campbelltown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Detectives investigating the shooting of a man in Denham Court last year are appealing for public information.

Just before 8.30pm on Friday, November 6, emergency services were called to Campbelltown Road at Denham Court, following reports a man had been shot.

The 45-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.

He remains in hospital undergoing treatment.

Initial inquiries were conducted by officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command, before detectives from the State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups Squad took carriage of the investigation under Strike Force Eradore.

As investigations continue, detectives have released vision and images of a black 2015 BMW M4 seen in the area at the time of the shooting.

Investigators are appealing for anyone in the community with information about the vehicle’s movements or occupants to come forward.

Police are also appealing for anyone who may have dashcam footage from Campbelltown Road or surrounding streets, between 6.30pm and 9.30pm on November 6 to come forward.
