Light up your homes for a very Merry 2021 Christmas

Entries are now open for Wollondilly Council’s 2021 Christmas lights competition.

Residents and businesses from across the Shire will light up their properties to embrace the Christmas spirit just like they have been doing since the competition was established in 1998.

Wollondilly residents can enter the Christmas lights competition by completing the entry form on council’s website by Sunday, November 28.

Judging will take place between December 1 and 7, and the award presentation for the competition winners will be held on December 10.

This year the categories include:

  • Small house and garden
  • Large house and garden
  • Senior citizen house
  • Commercial and retail premises
  • Best street
  • People’s choice award.

Christmas in Camden will be a range of online activities taking place throughout December.

The “Camden Chrissy’’ program includes:

Christmas lights competition with several categories – winners announced on December 10.

Christmas card competition – entries will close on Thursday, November 25.

Virtual tree lighting ceremony – watch Camden’s main Christmas tree on Argyle Street as well as for the first time a Christmas Tree will also be lit up in Oran Park’s civic precinct, simultaneously online on Saturday, November 27.

Send Santa a virtual letter.

Christmas giving appeal – donations going to Blue Wren House and Shining Stars Foundation.

#CamdenLove Bears – get in the Christmas spirit and nominate a worthy community member for a Camden Love Bear.
