A 48 year old man has been charged with more than 100 domestic-violence related offences, including solicit to murder, allegedly committed over an 18 year period.
About 12.30pm on Sunday, February 1, officers attached to Campbelltown Local Area Command were called to a home on Carrington Circuit at Leumeah after reports of a domestic incident.
They arrived to find a 51 year old woman at the front of the house with a fractured leg and bruising.
Inquiries later revealed the woman had sustained the injuries after jumping from the first floor balcony of the residence following an alleged domestic dispute.
A 48 year old man was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where he was charged with recklessly cause grievous bodily harm.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court last Wednesday, April 15.
Campbelltown detectives conducted further inquiries with the woman over the next four weeks, during which they recorded details of additional alleged serious assaults and ongoing abuse that had taken place over an 18-year-period.
This included allegations of ongoing verbal harassment, serious physical assaults and multiple sexual and indecent assaults.
Police subsequently charged the man with 102 additional offences during his court appearance on Wednesday.
The charges included solicit to murder, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, assault with act of indecency, intentionally choke person, contravene AVO, sexual intercourse without consent and common assault.
The accused has been remanded in custody to reappear before Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday, June 10.
