A survey of over 1,000 Australian families has revealed that dads love hanging out either by themselves or with their mates in their own man-cave or zone in the home.
“Whether tinkering about in the shed, doing odd jobs in the backyard, or chilling out on his favourite sofa, one thing’s for sure is that dads love to carve out their own zone in the home,” says Angelina Rhodes from Fantastic Furniture Campbelltown.
Only 10 percent of dads surveyed said they wanted to spend more time with their partner, with most happy to tinker about at home.
And 42 per cent of dads have their own favourite spot on the sofa.
The survey revealed that the man-cave is the ultimate bloke zone where dad can hang out and do his thing.

Man-cave wish list items included a private gym, tools, signed pictures on the wall, bar fridge, home theatre and a comfy sofa.
“We reckon dads are a hardworking bunch and deserve a bit of downtime and so this Father’s Day we are offering up a complete man-cave makeover for local dads to win,’’ Angelina said.

“They can choose their perfect man-cave items and we will deliver and install it,” said Angelina.
