Local road users are advised of changed traffic conditions next month on Narellan Road west of Waterworth Drive, Mount Annan.
The changes are necessary to install new variable messaging signs as part of the network efficiency program.
Crews will work for up to four-night shifts betweenTuesday, November 11 and Friday, December 19, to install the foundation for the Narellan Road (pictured above) site.
Installation of all three signs structures will then be completed over 12-night shifts (four nights at each location) from Monday, November 17. The three locations are:
- Narellan Road west of Waterworth Drive, Mount Annan
- The Northern Road south of Fairwater Drive, Harrington Park
- Camden Valley Way south of Anderson Road, Smeaton Grange.
Work will continue until December 23.
Temporary traffic changes include lane closures, and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h.
Vehicles wider than 3.5 metres will be required to pull into the layover area and wait. Vehicle operators will need to communicate via UHF channel 28.
NSW Department of Transport advise that there will also be changed traffic conditions at the intersection of Atchison, Saywell, and Parliament roads, Macquarie Fields from this Sunday, November 2.
The changes are necessary to carry out traffic light upgrades.
Crews will work for up to five-night shifts until November 27, weather permitting.
