The three Macarthur region councils are celebrating the Garage Sale Trail, Australia’s biggest festival of pre-loved items, with … a regional garage sale.
Camden Council, alongside Campbelltown and Wollondilly Councils and Macarthur Strategic Waste Alliance (MSWA) will hold Macarthur’s Biggest Garage Sale on Saturday, November 18 in the Narellan Park carpark, located on 18B Millwood Avenue.
From 8am to 1pm, Macarthur’s Biggest Garage Sale will allow residents to buy and sell second-hand goods, stopping great items from ending up in the tip.
In partnership with Revolve ReCYCLING, residents will have access to check and tune bike services, and the first 30 bookings made will be free.
There will also be a drop-off point for people to donate their used, working and non-working bikes to be reused or recycled.
Mayor of Camden, Ashleigh Cagney, said she was proud the three councils and MSWA had come together to create an event that would achieve positive environmental outcomes.
“It will be so good to see everyone coming together to take part in something that will only continue to grow our community in the best ways possible,” she said.
“We as a community can take small steps that will create big change, and what better way to do it, if not together!”
