Chris Redondo, a fitter machinist by trade, started his own company from his parents’ garage in Ingleburn seven years ago.
Ryco 24•7 now operates three service centres and employs 11 people.
The Ingleburn company fit and replace hoses for hydraulic systems, servicing mining, agriculture, transport and engineering firms.
Last week this local business success story hosted the treasurer of Australia, Scott Morrison and Macarthur MP Russell Matheson.
“Chris started with one mobile service vehicle and one employee,’’ Mr Matheson said.
“Today his company has six vehicles, three service centres and 11 employees.
“This is a remarkable success story for our region – one we should be incredibly proud of.

Mr Morrison said that the government’s plan for jobs and growth was designed to help small businesses like Ryco 24•7.
“Chris hopes that turnover will hit $2 million this year, so the company will benefit from a reduced tax rate and the instant asset-write off, which will enable him to re-invest back into the business so that he can continue to grow and employ more people,’’ Mr Morrison said.
