The Service NSW Liverpool office at Orange Grove Road, the biggest in the state, has celebrated one year of excellent service.

The Minister for Finance, Services and Property Dominic Perrottet has congratulated the Service NSW Liverpool team on an outstanding record since opening 12 months ago on May 30, 2014.

“The Service NSW team at Liverpool has set new benchmarks for customer service,” Mr Perrottet said.

“As the largest service centre in the State, the team at Liverpool has served more than 320,000 customers since opening – with customer satisfaction tracking at 99 per cent and average wait times below six minutes,’’ the minister said.

“These statistics show how local people have embraced the Service NSW one-stop shop concept here in south west Sydney.’’

Combined with improved online access and 24/7 phone service, the one-stop shops break down the barriers to doing business with the NSW Government.

Member for Holsworthy Melanie Gibbons said locals appreciated the variety of government transaction services and options provided by Service NSW.

“This a proud milestone for the local Service NSW team who’ve worked so hard to make the local centre a success,” Ms Gibbons said.

Service Centre Manager Arun Kumar said every one of the 53 strong Liverpool team had made a solid contribution to the success of the service centre.

“The Service NSW one-stop-shop concept might make a lot of sense but it’s taken a lot of hard work to get things up and running,” Mr Kumar said.

“Our team has stepped up to the mark to make things easier and more efficient for customers, and it’s rewarding that expectations have been met if not exceeded.

“Our longer opening times have been particularly well received by customers.”

The Liverpool Service NSW Centre is one of more than 30 centres now operating around the State to ensure better customer service, shorter waiting times and a reduction in service and facility duplication.

Customers also have the option of using a 24/7 phone service and expanded digital services.

Last week Ms Gibbons joined the Minister for Multiculturalism John Ajaka to announce the roll out of Service NSW’s translation services. Liverpool was one of the trial centres and due to its success the program is now available statewide.

The Service NSW Liverpool service centre operates from the Liverpool Megacenta, Shop R19, 2–18 Orange Grove Road.
