Live music will take centre stage at Macarthur’s highly anticipated Food and Wine Festival, AnnanROMA, this Sunday, April 3.
The ninth edition of the popular festival at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan will feature a diverse line-up of musical acts, including the much anticipated The Vanns.
Described by local music aficionado [and in macarthur magazine publisher] David Everett as sounding like an early Kings of Leon, the band are set to deliver a tasty saltwater-indie rock sound to event patrons.
Joining The Vanns will be a range of great local acts including a 60-strong ukulele outfit, Macarthur Ukelele, and country-pop singer/songwriter Karleigh Rose.
The music element is just another reason not to miss AnnanROMA this Sunday.
“AnnanROMA just gets better every year, and has grown to become Western Sydney’s largest food and wine festival,” says John Siemon, curator manager for the botanic garden.
“For 2016, we have perfected the live entertainment offering and added some great family activities that broaden its appeal.
“It’s now a well-sought after showcase event for many of the local region’s family-owned and boutique businesses.
“AnnanROMA is of great importance to us at the garden, as for many thousands of local residents it has been the reason for their first visit to the site.
“The most satisfying aspect is that we then see high levels of repeat visitation after the event as our visitors discover the garden and its many important features.”
“If you haven’t visited the garden, AnnanROMA is the perfect excuse to come and discover Australia’s largest botanic garden,” Mr Siemon said.
