A Camden man will soon be driving around the Macarthur region in a Lamborghini after bagging the entire $30 million Powerball jackpot.

The lucky player held the only division one winning entry in last Thursday’s Powerball draw 1404.

In addition to taking home $30 million, he also takes the title of Australia’s second biggest lottery winner of 2023 to date.

“We found out at 9pm last night, and then we were paranoid,” the winning man laughed when speaking to lottery officials the next morning.

“We showed people and asked, “Is this a win?”. I was checking the ticket every freaking 10 minutes!

“I’m speechless! My mind is blown! Trust me: this couldn’t have gone to a better family. This is going to set so many people up. It’s amazing,” he said.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1404 were 27, 33, 19, 29, 5, 12 and 15. The all-important Powerball number was 4.

The winner said he was also keen to use his $30 million prize to make at least one of his long-held dreams a reality.

“I’d love to get a Lamborghini. That’s my dream car. I’ve wanted that car since I was a kid,” he said.

“I’m going to have a fantastic life!”

So far this year, six Powerball division one winners have pocketed more than $129.82 million.

There have been two wins each in both NSW and South Australia, and one each in Victoria and Western Australia.

The winning man from Camden purchased his marked 36-game entry online via OzLotteries.com – one of The Lott’s authorised resellers.

Jumbo Interactive operates OzLotteries.com website and OzLotteries App selling official lottery tickets as an authorised reseller. Jumbo Interactive is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
