The awards and recognition he received over the years tell just part of his community involvement in the Camden community.

He served on Camden Council for eight years, from 2004 to 2012, and was elected deputy mayor on three occasions.
Not so well known is the fact that her served one term on council way back in 1977 as an independent alderman, as councillors were known then.
He is current president of Camden men’s shed, and a volunteer with the Camden Show Society, where he was made a life member in 2003.
