Ivan Vujica was the Bulls’ player of the year last season. Now the rock solid left side defender has sealed his future with Macarthur FC after signing a two-year contract extension, tying him to the South West Sydney club until 2025.

Vujica, pictured above against the Wanderers, was crowned the Macarthur Medallist for 2022/23 after an impressive campaign that saw him start in every Isuzu UTE A-League match for the Bulls, playing all but 25 minutes of the regular season.

On the back of his performances last season and winning the club’s player of the year award, the 26-year-old had his heart set on calling Campbelltown Sports Stadium home for another two seasons.

“I’m delighted to have signed with the Bulls for the next two seasons,’’ Vujica said.

“I feel like I’ve been playing some of my best football since I arrived here last season and I want that to continue.

“I’m excited to be part of what the club is building and I can’t wait to start the season.’’

Bulls head coach Mile Sterjovski was pleased with the retention of the dual Australian and Croatian youth international, praising Vujica’s work rate, not only in defence but also going forward.

“Ivan was one of our most consistent players last season,” Sterjovski said.

“He works tirelessly, adds a lot of strength to our backline and is a great support in attack. We are looking forward to having him on board again.’’
