One of the fastest growing master planned communities in South West Sydney, New Breeze in Bardia, has welcomed its first residents.

More than 870 land and house and land packages have now been sold, valued at more than $550 million.

New Breeze, developed by Dahua Group, spans across 89 hectares and will comprise around 1,300 homes when completed in 2020.

The development will include large high-quality parks and playgrounds, a sports oval, bike and cycle paths and 40 hectares of open spaces for recreational activities.

Pramod Subedi, his wife Karena and daughter Priyana were one of the first residents to move into the new $1 billion development.

They purchased a 390 sqm land lot and built a two storey, four bed Eden Brae Home.

“To be one of the first residents in a new community is exciting. Everything is new – our dream home, playgrounds, cycle and bike paths, barbecue areas, Edmondson train station and the recently upgraded state of the art Bardia Public School,’’ Pramod said.

“Several family and friends have also recently moved in too, plus a few neighbours. We can already feel a welcoming community vibe which we are very pleased to be part of.”

Stephen Bambury, sales manager at New Breeze says Dahua’s focus for New Breeze is to build a vibrant, inclusive community that people are proud to call home.

“That is fast becoming a reality with the first residents moving in,’’ Bambury said.

“Neighbourhood barbecues and gatherings in the wide-open spaces are already evident.

“There is a wide mix of ages and demographic profiles all living together from first home buyers, young families, up sizers and downsizers.

“Nestled in the heart of the South West Growth Corridor, New Breeze is bustling with people and construction activity.

“It is fast gaining a reputation as the place to live in the South West.”

During the second half of 2019, Dahua expects to start construction on its $7.7 million Maxwell Creek Oval project.

Located in Parkside (Stage 3), Maxwell Creek Oval spans around 12,000 sqm and has elevated views from the surrounding area into the precinct.

Features include a large playing oval for cricket and two full-sized fields for rugby league and soccer pursuits, nature-based play area, flying fox, swings and slides, picnic area, shaded barbecue precinct, swing, climbing equipment and amenities building servicing the sports facilities.

Development approval was also granted earlier this year for Ingleburn Park and the Northern Corridor, valued at approximately $3.3 million and connected to Maxwell Creek Oval.

Ingleburn Park, comprising over 4,125 sqm will be an active recreational space featuring a climbing wall, fireman poles, climbing net, slides, play equipment, shelter and seat walling.

Land lot sizes in New Breeze start at 200 sqm with prices from $236,900.

New Breeze is only eight kilometres from Liverpool’s CBD and about 45 minutes from Sydney’s CBD.

It is at the gateway to the expanding Sydney South West Growth Centre and provides easy access to the second airport at Badgerys Creek, scheduled to open in 2026.

Liverpool Westfield, Casula Mall and Crossroad Homemaker Centre are all within a 10 to 15-minute drive.

Twelve public and private schools including Macquarie Fields High School and William Carey Christian School are also within a 15-minute drive.
