Ingleburn boasts one of the best “village square’’ central business districts in the Macarthur region and South West Sydney.

It has everything anyone could possibly need, from big retailers like Coles and Woolies, the big banks, restaurants and cafes to hairdressers and accountants.

But it’s all packed into a small space around Oxford Road, which means you can do the whole lot on foot and that’s what makes it a real, old fashioned village square.

And once a year Ingleburn lets its hair down to celebrate this wonderful public space with Ingleburn Alive – a festival that is steadily growing in popularity across the wider region.

In less than four weeks, on Saturday, March 3, Ingleburn Alive will be back for another year and Oxford Road will once again be awash with colour, festive sounds and tasty aromas.

It will also be a day when carnival rides, stalls, entertainers and revellers take the place of cars from 11am to 8.30pm.

Ingleburn Alive also gives local businesses and residents the opportunity to showcase their vibrant village square CBD to a wider community.

Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, says Ingleburn Alive is a “fantastic festival, which celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of the local area, and attracts large crowds every year’’.

“Campbelltown City loves a good celebration, and Ingleburn Alive gives businesses and stallholders the opportunity to get involved in the local community and help make the 2018 event the best one yet,” he said.
