The 2016 Ingleburn Alive Festival will be bigger and better than ever but if you want to be a stallholder you’d better hurry up.

The heart of Ingleburn will be transformed into a giant street party when the annual Ingleburn Alive Festival returns on Saturday, March 5.

And while that’s almost five weeks away, there is not that much time left to register your interest to be a stallholder.

With this year’s festival expected to be bigger and better than ever, Campbelltown City Council is encouraging local businesses and stallholders to share in the excitement.

Stallholder applications close next Thursday, February 4, so you’d better hurry if you want to get your local business involved and sharing in the excitement of the 2016 Ingleburn Alive Festival!

Once again the festival will have it all.

From 11am to 8.30pm, Oxford Road will be transformed into an eclectic mix of street stalls and live entertainment, with something for residents of all ages to enjoy.

From a petting farm to camel rides and a special performance by the Royal Australian Navy Band – there’ll be no shortage of things to do, see and experience.

The street party continues into the early evening with a vibrant mix of music and dance, including the harmonies of local seven piece band K-Groove, who’ll treat festival goers to covers of popular songs from the 70s to today.

And of course, the festival wouldn’t be complete without the spectacular fireworks display in Milton Park at 8.30pm.

Mayor urges business people to grab a piece of the action

Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr Paul Hawker, says he would like to see local businesses and stallholders to get involved and be part of an event that brings the community together.

“Ingleburn Alive is a much-loved local event and attracts large crowds every year,” Cr Hawker said.

“It’s a great opportunity to be part of this highly successful festival and promote your products and services to the wider community

“It’s a smart way to boost the profile of a business and simultaneously be seen to contribute to the community spirit of the festival,” Cr Hawker said.

Stalls will operate along Oxford Road, Ingleburn from 11am to 8.30pm on the day, with set up between 7am and 10am.

Oxford Road will be closed to traffic from Ingleburn Road to Cumberland Road from 7am to midnight on the day.
