Works will soon begin to refurbish the streetscape of Oxford Road between Cumberland Road and Carlisle Street to create a more welcoming entrance to the Ingleburn Town Centre.

The project will start in August and see new pavements and vegetation installed along the pathways alongside new tree plantings.

The $850,000 project is funded by Campbelltown Council and will see existing trees along the streetscape retained as part of the works.

“The Ingleburn Town Centre is one of the major business centres in the Campbelltown area, particularly for people in the northern part of our LGA,” says Mayor George Greiss.

“These works will improve the aesthetic of one of our biggest CBD areas and make it more attractive for residents, businesses and visitors to the area, adding to the recent works completed in Ingleburn by businesses as part of our Street Appeal Grant Program” Cr Greiss said.

Work is expected to be completed in September.
