The Oran Park Smart Work Hub is a modern work space offering high speed internet, meeting rooms, presentation technology, private offices, open plan desks and a dedicated event space.
Since the launch in November 2014, they have welcomed 123 members and 58 day pass visitors, hosted 52 events and booked 1950 meetings via Liquidspace, making it the largest Smart Work Hub in Australia.
Located on level 2 of Oran Park Podium shopping centre, the Smart Work Hub provides a refreshing change to business owners and commuters who are looking to swap the coffee shop for a meeting room or the long commute for working closer to home.
About 95 percent of Smart Work Hub users have experienced an increase in productivity since using the facilities and often generate business from within the Smart Work Hub with the opportunity to network with other growing businesses in the region.
While the majority of members are small business owners, employees who commute long distances work remotely from the Smart Work Hub along with a selection of government employees who are utilising the complimentary seats on offer to the public sector.
The diversity of the businesses working at the Smart Work Hub adds great value to the space with business owners often collaborating and exchanging ideas.
The lunch and learn workshops, held monthly at the Smart Work Hub, provide members and the community an opportunity to be presented with ideas and business tips.
Past topics have included digital marketing, financial planning, personal development, and personal branding and styling.
Heading into the second year of operation, the Smart Work Hub is preparing to open its brand new executive suites.
These larger offices will be perfect for larger teams and will also present the opportunity for growth for current members whose businesses are expanding.
The addition to the Smart Work Hub will include a balcony overlooking Oran Park Town.
The facilities within Oran Park Podium include an Anytime Fitness gym on Level 1, one of the largest Woolworths in NSW and more than 550 parking spaces.
The Smart Work Hub is a 24/7 facility for members with access via a swipe pass, providing flexibility for users to work when it suits them.
The host of the Smart Work Hub, Becky, is on-site weekdays to welcome guests, assist with member enquiry, coordinate and facilitate events and workshops and provide tours of the space.
Following a tour, visitors are provided with a complimentary day pass to the Smart Work Hub.
