“We don’t mean to be cheesy but we’ve decided to do a really grate deed by raising funds for Campbelltown Hospital’s paediatric unit.’’
Maybe Guzman Y Gomez in Macarthur Square meant to say they don’t want to sound corny, but either way this is all about such a good cause they can probably get away with anything.
Throughout June the local Mexican restaurant franchise will hold its first ever Hospital Kids Appeal with money raised going towards equipment in the children’s ward.
Guzman Y Gomez Macarthur Square franchisee Chris Tesoriero said he was proud to be part of the company’s tradition of giving, and encourages diners to do the same.
“I’ve found people in Macarthur to be incredibly supportive of local fundraisers,” Mr Tesoriero said.
The fundraiser will include celebrations that the whole family can enjoy
“As part of my effort to help these children and caregivers, I humbly make an appeal to the entire community to get behind this cause and help support many brave and inspiring children in Campbelltown Hospital,” Mr Tesoriero said.
“We will also be having a Kids Eat Free Day on Saturday, June 25, where children who come in with an adult will receive a standard kid’s meal for a gold coin donation.
“So mark your calendars and come in for a feed,” he said.
If you can’t make it to the store but would like to donate to the cause then you can head to the GoFundMe page here.
