Greg Inglis, a rugby league legend of the modern era and a Hall of Famer, has joined the Wests Tigers NRLW coaching staff.

The 38-year-old, who now lives in South Western Sydney, has previously worked with the club in a specialist mentoring capacity.

Inglis will work as a specialist assistant coach for the NRLW team’s back five and will support the players and coaching staff with his profound experience gained as a player, as well as in his new role with the Queensland Women’s State of Origin team.

The NRL premiership-winner is an icon of the game, having represented Queensland and Australia for over a decade during his decorated career, as well as featuring for the Indigenous All Stars on four occasions.

His achievements were recognised upon his induction into the NRL Hall of Fame in 2024.

Wests Tigers NRLW head coach, Brett Kimmorley, expressed his excitement about the appointment.

“Greg is a phenomenal addition to our coaching staff,” Kimmorley said.

“His knowledge, leadership, and ability to connect with players are second to none.

“I have no doubt that he will have a profound impact on our squad as we build towards the upcoming season.

“Greg has finished an NRL coaching course, as well as attended our pathways education session, and the support from the club to continue to grow in the NRLW program is evident with this investment.”

The Wests Tigers 2025 NRLW campaign kicks off on Saturday, July 5 against the Broncos in Brisbane
