A woman has appeared in court following an incident at Glenfield on Saturday night where two people suffered injuries.

Emergency services were called to Dobu Place just before 5.30pm and found a man with a slash wound to his upper left leg, while a woman had a minor laceration to her head.

The 44-year-old man and his 47-year-old partner were taken to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment, while officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene.

Three women were arrested a short time later and taken to Campbelltown Police Station; however, two have since been released pending further inquiries.

A third woman, aged 36, was held overnight in police custody before being charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

She was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.

An improvised weapon was seized at the scene and has been taken for forensic examination.
