Get ready for Crafternoons, Frosé Fridays and Wine Down Sundays when Country Club Gledswood Hills becomes Macarthur’s newest hospitality destination.
Construction has already started on a range of sophisticated new facilities, including outdoor terrace, family area, kids games room, café, dining and outdoor bar.
The work is scheduled to be completed by next Spring.
Located at 91 The Hermitage Way, Country Club Gledswood Hills is part of Wests Group Macarthur and CEO Tony Mathew says the work is part of a commitment to “offer members a range of first class social facilities and entertainment options, with a continued focus on high levels of customer service”.
“After a long and devoted process, Wests Group Macarthur is excited to unveil our newest plans for the Country Club, with which we are confident will provide the residents of the Macarthur community a social and interactive destination built on a solid foundation of service values,’’ Mr Mathew said.
“With appreciation for the growth experienced in the Camden area, we understand the need for facilities dedicated to providing family and kid friendly areas, affordable dining options and unique member offerings.’’
The outdoor terrace will be fitted with timber, concrete, and native Australian greenery to make it the perfect place to enjoy a sophisticated drink while the sun goes down over Camden.
The new Country Club Gledswood Hills family area will include a smart communal dining area with private booths, lounge areas, screens and comfortable furniture pieces offering $10 member dining specials.
The kids games room will be a dedicated large grassed arena with a range of safe games and equipment to keep juniors, youths and teenagers entertained.
The timber-themed Café will serve award-winning Hennessy blend coffee, pastries and light meals.
As part of its dining service, the club will continue to offer the renowned Country Club Signature meals, brasserie type menu items using local and regional fresh suppliers, slow-cooked meats, ribs and sides from the Radar BBQ Smoker, as well as introduce a wood fire pizzeria.
The improvements coming in Spring include a stunning new island bar offering draught and international beers, Australian wine, premium spirits, cider, cocktails and a range of non-alcoholic beverages.
The new bar will connect the brasserie dining area to the outdoor terrace and will be decked out with high tops, fireplaces and a stage for entertainment.
As well as Crafternoons, Frosé Fridays and Wine Down Sundays there will be themed cocktail nights and a selection of celebratory events.
Roll on, Spring!
