Book it: the HSC lecture series is back in March in HJ Daley library.

Campbelltown City Library Service’s HSC lecture series will resume at the HJ Daley Library in March.

There will be two talks during the month to provide local Year 11 and 12 students with helpful advice on preparing for the HSC exams.

In the first, Rowan Kunz will present Acing the HSC Trial from 5.30pm to 7pm on Tuesday, March 14.

This lecture will also show students how to create an effective study plan to achieve their ATAR goals, while managing the stress of the trial exams.

The CEO of Art of Smart Education, Mr Kunz was named one of Australia’s top 30 under 30 entrepreneurs and achieved an ATAR of 99.6 in the HSC.

His presentations have been viewed more than one million times on YouTube.

The second lecture, Area of Study: Discovery, will be presented by Larry Grumley from 5.30pm to 7pm on Wednesday, March 22.

Mr Grumley is an HSC exam marker and study guide author, and has been a high school English teacher for more than 25 years.

His lecture will give students an insider’s knowledge of how best to approach HSC English in preparation for the HSC exams.

Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, said the library’s lectures provided students with support and advice from speakers with expertise in studying for the HSC, at a challenging and often stressful time in their school careers.

“Council is pleased to provide this support through its very popular lecture series, in addition to other HSC student resources including the free online tutoring program, YourTutor, online data bases which cover a range of subjects, and quiet study rooms at our library branches,” he said.

Both lectures are free but bookings are essential by calling 4645 4444.
