It’s time to shake off the challenges of the last few years and what better way than a fun charity night for Youth Solutions.

The theme for the July 30 night will be “Flashback to your favourites: a musical journey through the decades” to ensure the music stays pumping and the dance floor keeps rocking.

Venue will be the Cube, Campbelltown Catholic Club, pictured above from a previous year’s night.

The event is the year’s major fundraiser for Youth Solutions, a youth drug and alcohol prevention and health promotion charity working across the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions.

Youth Solutions CEO Geraldine Dean said the annual charity event had been cancelled the last two years because of covid, which had motivated the fundraising committee to work harder to ensure the 2022 event would be the best one yet.

“We’ve been overwhelmed with the support we’ve received so far for the 2022 annual charity event,’’ Mrs Dean said.

“It’s been a tough few years for everyone, and the charity event gives our supporters and the wider community a chance to gather and enjoy an evening out while supporting Youth Solutions and the work we do providing vital programs and services for young people in our community.”

Event coordinator Amanda Dillon said community support was essential for Youth Solutions to fund and deliver its youth programs.

“It truly takes a community to keep our young people healthy, safe and connected and on that note we must particularly thank our wonderful annual charity event 2022 sponsors for their support,” Mrs Dillon said.

Mrs Dillon said tickets were still on sale and some major prize donations were still needed to ensure the annual charity event was a success.
