The countdown has started to the start of 2015 Group 6 CRL pre-season Friday night competition on February 27.
But footy fans will get an early taste of things to come this Friday night, February 6, at Kirkham Oval, Elderslie when Camden host Wests Tigers v Parramatta Eels in two trials.
AT 6pm the Tigers will take on the Eels in the under 20s, also known as the National Youth Competition (NYC).
The State Cup trial will follow at 7.45pm.
Tickets are just $5 adults, $2 pensioners and anyone under 18 free.
So head out to Kirkham this Friday night if you would like to see some future NRL stars on show.
In other Group 6 CRL pre-season news, it is calling for player nominations for the upcoming possible probable trial to select the 2015 U18 Representative training squad on Saturday, March 7.
Group 6 CRL has had some great success over the years with players going through the U18s Rep, going onto the Greater Southern Region Redbacks and onto the NRL U20s, so this is an opportunity for the players who were not selected in SG Ball squads as another pathway into NRL grade.
Group 6 CRL is also looking to re-establish the Women’s League Competition in 2015, so are seeking players from 16 years of age to open age players to participate in the sport to contact their senior Group 6 Club.
