Fisher’s Ghost Festival offers sponsorship opportunities to business.

The Festival of Fisher’s Ghost, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, offers sponsorship opportunities that could be good for business.

Fisher’s Ghost Festival is Campbelltown’s largest and longest running community event.

Boasting a huge program of events and entertainment, the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost draws crowds of up to 100,000 people across all demographics.

This year’s festival provides more sponsorship opportunities than ever before. The benefits include generous business exposure through a variety of channels, a complimentary stall at the Street Fair and invitations to the Festival’s official luncheon. Sponsorship opportunities start from $500 (plus GST) and there is potential to customise the package to maximise results.

The Marsden’s Law Group Fisher’s Ghost Fun Run is a highlight of the festival, attracting a large field of competitive and social participants. Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsorships are available for this event, offering businesses significant exposure via event t-shirts and pre-publicity. Bronze sponsorship begins at $500 (plus GST) and opportunities close on 12 August.

This year the Fun Run will be held on Sunday 15 November in the grounds of the Campbelltown campuses of the University of Western Sydney and NSW TAFE Western Sydney Institute.

Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr Paul Lake, acknowledged the importance of sponsorship to the success of the festival.

“It’s the ongoing involvement of businesses and the support of the wider community that has directly contributed to the longevity of the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost. That’s the real spirit of Campbelltown,” Cr Lake said.

“Sponsorship is a great way to boost the profile of a business and simultaneously be seen to contribute to the community spirit of the festival.
