Skate, scooter and BMX demonstrations will inspire enthusiasts of all ages, when the Fisher’s Extreme Showcase heads to Campbelltown Skate Park on Saturday, November 12 from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

The showcase is part of the annual Festival of Fisher’s Ghost which starts this Saturday, November 5.

Demonstrations by sponsored riders as well as an open jam session for young people are on the card for this year’s Fisher’s Extreme Showcase.

New tricks from the experts and live action are expected to draw the crowds as the skate park celebrates Fred’s legend with a free barbecue, music and giveaways.

Campbelltown City Council will host the event in partnership with Totem Skate School and with the support of local businesses and community organisations, including Youth Off The Streets.

Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, said crowds could expect to see kickflips, grinds and carves from some very talented riders who will put their skate, scooter and BMX skills on show.

“They’re such exciting sports to watch on TV, it’s fantastic our community will get to see them live in Campbelltown as part of the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost,” he said.

“The Fisher’s Extreme Showcase has been such a popular activity in past years and it’s just one of the many activities on the festival program that appeals to both younger and older participants and spectators alike.

“It’s also a great event for families to enjoy together.”
