Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor has just named his side to face the Newcastle Knights at Campbelltown Sports Stadium this Saturday, May 21.
Robbie Farah has been ruled out of this weekend’s game with concussion, with former Manly-Warringah hooker Matt Ballin called up on to the interchange bench for his first NRL match for Wests Tigers.
In other team news, both Curtis Sironen (ankle) and Sauaso Sue (rib) will miss the Knights clash, as Holden Cup prop forward JJ Felise earns a recall to the NRL side.
Ava Seumanufagai and Josh Aloiai have been named in the starting side, with Tim Grant moving to the interchange bench alongside Kyle Lovett.
After making 50 tackles in his first match for the club last week, mid-season recruit Elijah Taylor will once again start at lock.
For the first time since Round 1, all three grades will play on the same day in what will be themed as a Family Day at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
Both Wests Tigers’ Intrust Super Premiership and Holden Cup sides are enjoying strong seasons, sitting in fourth place and second place respectively.
The family day activities at the match include a giant ferris wheel (sponsored by Campbelltown Council), baby T-Rex mascot, Minion Mascot, Face Painter, Balloon-Bender, Kids Zone, roaming musicians and a Take to the Turf at the end of the match.
