Local riders will attempt kick flips, grinds and carves when they show off their skate, scooter and BMX skills at the Fisher’s Extreme Showcase at St Helens Park Skate Park tomorrow [Saturday, November 11].
The two hour showcase between 3.30pm to 5.30pm is part of the 2017 Festival of Fisher’s Ghost.
It will include an open jam session for young people to display their talents, in addition to a free barbecue, music and giveaways.
Campbelltown City Council will host the event in partnership with Totem Skate School, and the support of local businesses and community organisations.
Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, said skate, scooter and BMX riding were exciting sports to watch, and the interactive nature of the showcase attracted participants and spectators of all ages to the event each year.

“I encourage residents to experience as many festival activities as possible, and don’t miss the skate, scooter and BMX showcase – you’ll be blown away by the talent on display.”
The Festival of Fisher’s Ghost started on November 3 and ends on November 12.
