East Campbelltown Eagles have shot to the top of the Macarthur Conference premiership ladder after another superlative performance yesterday.

The Eagles comfortably disposed of Campbelltown Collegians at Bradbury 58-4 to pocket the two premiership points.

A massive points for and against differential has them top of the ladder even though they have the same number of points as Camden Rams – 22.

But their for and against is plus 170, compared to Camden’s plus 102.

With just one round to go in the minor premiership, all the Eagles have to do is win their last game against Picton Magpies this Sunday.

Eagles player Edwin Connor is also having a big season, leading the top pointscorers table with 148.

Also certain to play finals footy this season are the Campbelltown City Kangaroos, after they got the two points against Oakdale at Fullwood Reserve off the back of a very strong showing.

Kangaroos, who missed out last season, are on 17 points, the same as the Workers, who are also headed to the finals in 2022.

Picton Magpies will finish in fifth spot, no matter what happens in the last round this coming weekend.

The Magpies are on 16 points, two more than the Oaks Tigers plus a massive differential advantage.
