A man has been charged following investigations into alleged drug supply in the Camden area.
About 8.30am yesterday (Friday, December 29), detectives from Camden Local Area Command stopped two alleged Hells Angel OMCG members in a vehicle on the Northern Road, Luddenham.
A short time later, local officers with the assistance of the South West Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad attended a home in South Circuit, Oran Park and executed a search warrant.
A 25-year-old man from the vehicle stop accompanied police to the search warrant at Oran Park.
During a search of the premises, officers allegedly located approximately 70 grams of a white powder suspected of being cocaine, steroid vials, cash, and 12 tablets suspected of being “ecstasy”, and other drug related items.
All items were secured for forensic analysis.
The 25-year-old man was arrested and taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with supplying prohibited drug greater than indictable quantity, possessing a prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today, Saturday, December 30.

Meanwhile, following the 22nd death on our roads during Operation Safe Arrival, NSW Traffic & Highway Patrol Commander, Assistant Commissioner Michael Corboy, has called on those considering driving long distances during the holidays to plan ahead and allow plenty of time for rest breaks.
“This year we have seen too many single vehicle crashes in our state’s regional areas. Drivers need to be aware of the risks associated with tiredness and speed,’’ he said.
“Double demerits remain in force, and with more police on our roads, those who choose to ignore the warnings and engage in high-risk behaviour will be caught.
“We are urging drivers to take responsibility for their actions and to slow down to ensure no more lives are lost this year,” Assistant Commissioner Corboy said.
Key statistics – Operation Safe Arrival so far:
Speed infringements: 15,758
Other infringements: 22,001
Breath tests: 521,371
Drink-driving charges: 827
Major crashes: 1188
Lives lost: 22
Who cares, have you got nothing better than to report vice? I don’t want to continuously see a Police badge. There is real news if you take the time to look for it. Who cares about drugs, speeding, drunk driving, murders etc. It is not happening here so it is not even news!
Wow, someone rolled out the wrong side of bed this morning.
Did it ever occur to you Dirk Streefkerk that our world is dying? They need to report on real news like saving the koalas of Campbelltown from developments. You know before climate change koalas didn’t need to drink water? If you like crime fluff there are many avenues to get involved. I just don’t want to see a flipping police badge on my feed. What the world as a whole faces now is far beyond some isolated drug bust. We all need to get real.
Okey Dokey !
Good work Police. I just wish the Courts would back you up a bit more.
