pursuitWere you or anyone you know driving along Ben Lomond Road, Minto around 10.30pm last night?

Police are appealing for information following a pursuit through there that resulted in one person taken to hospital.

It all started when Macquarie Fields Highway Patrol officers attempted to stop a silver Ford Territory on Ben Lomond Road.

When the driver failed to stop the police gave chase.

The pursuit continued for a short distance onto Hansen Road, before the vehicle left the roadway and drove through vacant parkland where a passenger jumped from the car.

Police ended the pursuit to return to the parkland, where they found an injured 32-year-old man.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for a broken collar bone and taken to Campbelltown Hospital.

The Ford Territory was seen by police a short time later on Pembroke Road, Leumeah, and a second pursuit was initiated.

However, police lost sight of the vehicle and the pursuit was terminated.

Investigations into the matter are continuing and anyone with information that could assist police is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
