Wests Tigers current and former players and officials have hit the road this morning.
They have embarked on the club’s mighty Path to Picton fundraiser, walking more than 80 kilometres from Concord Oval to the flood ravaged town of Picton.
The aim is to raise funds to help the town as it tries to recover from the massive damage caused by the floods earlier this month.
Wests Tigers’ NRL squad members will be involved throughout the day, with former legends, including John Skandalis, Mark O’Neill and Paul Whatuira also taking part.
A number of special guests will also join the group throughout the day, with the full NRL squad taking part in the first section of the walk before a core group of representatives completes the journey through Liverpool and Campbelltown later on today.
The NRL Footy Show will cover the conclusion of the walk live tonight from the George IV Inn at Picton.
• For local fans who may want to support the cause and say hello to those taking part, the walking group is scheduled to be at Campbelltown Sports Stadium for a barbecue dinner between 5.30pm and 7.30pm tonight.
