On Saturday, March 11 the Ingleburn central business district will come alive with loads of free entertainment.
There will be market stalls, carnival rides and lots of other fun activities and displays for a marathon nine and a half hours – 11am to 8.30pm.
It will all be part of the 2017 Ingleburn Alive festival.
It may still be more than five weeks awau, but with this year’s festival expected to be bigger and better than ever, Campbelltown City Council is encouraging local businesses and stallholders to be part of this extremely popular community event.
There are also opportunities for businesses to support the event as a sponsor, with options including fireworks, entertainment or family fun fest sponsor.
Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, encouraged local businesses and stallholders to get involved in the festival and help bring Oxford Road, Ingleburn alive.
“The event attracts large crowds each year, which makes this a great opportunity for businesses to promote their product or service, and to really get involved in their local community,” he said.
“There’s going to be so much on offer this year, with the ever popular amusement rides, and Ingleburn Public School hosting free camel rides, a petting zoo and lots of fun activities for the kids.
“A variety of stalls will operate along Oxford Road and a jam packed evening of stage entertainment, plus a spectacular fireworks display at nearby Milton Park that will be seen for kilometres, will top off what will be a fantastic festival.”
Oxford Road will be closed to traffic from Ingleburn Road to Cumberland Road from 7am to midnight on the day.
Stallholder applications are now open, and will close on Monday, February 13.
