Something different – a night of film fun under the stars – is next up in the 2022 Festival of Fisher’s Ghost program.
Fred’s Flicks is on at Campbelltown Arts Centre amphitheatre (pictured above) this Saturday, November 12, starting from 7 and finishing at 10pm.
With a good weather forecast, this sounds like the perfect event for families – and film buffs.
A special screening of Monster House will be shown from 8pm, with on-site food vendors Hyper Foods, Miss Frosty and Xpresso Macarthur offering a selection of cinema-inspired drinks and snacks to purchase throughout the film.
“This year’s festival has been about embracing unique and fresh events, and Fred’s Flicks is a great new addition to the program,” says Mayor George Greiss.
“So come along and enjoy a great night at our wonderful Campbelltown Arts Centre and settle in for a great movie with the family,” he said.
Participants are encouraged to get in early with a picnic blanket, lawn chair and their viewing essentials, as space around the screen will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
The front section of the lawn will be dedicated to picnic blankets, with chairs allocated behind, to ensure optimal viewing for audiences on the evening.
This is a free, non-ticketed event. Fred’s Flick’s is supported by Screen NSW
