Campbelltown MP Greg Warren has lauded Macarthur Square shopping centre for once again making a tremendous donation to his annual Christmas Toy Drive.

The shopping centre has been one of the drive’s biggest contributors over the years, coming on board and donating a trolley load of gifts for children in the community.

Mr Warren paid tribute to centre manager Trevor Hill and every shop owner that made a contribution this year.

“2020 has been a tough year for everyone including businesses,” Mr Warren said.

“Covid-19 has placed a great strain on employers and their employees, so it really is heartening to see such a wonderful donation from those at Macarthur Square.

“All donations to this year’s drive will go to WILMA Women’s Health Centre who will then distribute the items to children in the community.

“Thank you again to centre manager Trevor Hill and everyone at Macarthur Square for such a wonderful gesture.”

Centre Manager Trevor Hill said it was a great cause he and those at the centre were happy to support.

“We are proud to continue supporting Greg Warren’s annual Christmas Toy Drive, with all toys donated going to a great cause within the community,” Mr Hill said.

“We have taken part in the toy drive for the past five years, as part of our commitment to our local community.”
