Great cause: Mayor George Brticevic at Beverley Park School to shoot a promotional video for the charity gala dinner.

It’s the charity dinner that could be a game changer for kids with special needs.

Money raised by the Campbelltown Mayor’s charity gala dinner will go towards a special new playground at Beverley Park School.

The students who attend Beverley Park have either physical, intellectual or multiple disabilities.

A new interactive playground would make a lot of difference to the learning level of these children, explains Mayor George Brticevic.

“Play is an important part of learning, and the money we raise by the charity gala dinner will go towards a playground which extends the students’ learning environment, bringing the classroom outdoors,” he said.

“It will not only be a fun way for the students to learn, but will meet their sensory needs – providing opportunities to smell, touch and taste.

[social_quote duplicate=”no” align=”default”]“With the generosity of the Campbelltown and wider Macarthur community, we will be able to provide the Beverley Park students of today, and of the future, with a wonderful playground which will improve the quality of their education,” the mayor said.[/social_quote]

The Mayor’s charity gala dinner will be held at Campbelltown Arts Centre on Saturday, June 17.

The dinner event will embrace a secret garden theme, and will showcase the beauty of the Arts Centre surrounds while celebrating Beverley Park School students.

Cr Brticevic has called on local businesses, organisations and residents to support the event and Beverley Park School through sponsorship, donations or tickets for the gala dinner.

So get your friends or colleagues together for the gala dinner, a glamorous black tie event, including fine dining, entertainment and lots of generosity.

Tickets are $150 per person or $1,400 for a table of 10, and include a three course dinner, beverages and entertainment.

Students’ artwork will also be on display, and available for purchase on the night.

Ticket sales and sponsorship opportunities are now available, or if you can’t make it on the night, donations of any amount are welcome.

  1. I had many great outing at Beverly Park in the past and had the honor of serving on their Committee. There is no better cause to support than Beverly Park in their work to give the children with disabilities a chance of a strart in education
