Edmondson Park is poised to become an important residential and retail hub when completed in a few years.
In the meantime, its progress is closely followed by South Western Sydney region business and residents alike.
Now one of our business chambers will return to action in 2021 with a focus on the suburb named after the area’s only Victoria Cross winner.
Warwick Dowler from Frasers Property, which is the developer behind Edmondson Park, will be the guest speaker at the first meeting of the year of Ingleburn chamber of commerce this Wednesday, February 10.
Mr Dowler will provide chamber members with an update on the Edmondson Park development.
This will include the current status of the development, the expected catchment area for retail business and the make up of the retail and commercial precinct at Edmondson Park.
He will also discuss the timeline and the residential capacity of the development.
The chamber meeting will be at Ottimo House, with a 6.30pm for 7pm start.
Visit the chamber’s website for more details.
One week later, on Wednesday, February 17, the Campbelltown chamber of commerce will launch its new year when it will hear from the man behind the Rashays Restaurants empire, Rami Ykmour.
Rami, currently executive chairman, is best known for his restaurant chain which operates in more than 30 locations, including Campbelltown.
His business portfolio features Ruomky Business Enterprises, Oodee (no-prep meal kits) and Guest Guard (modular customer protection screens).
Rami has also launched his own personal brand, Rami Ykmour, which features heavily on social media, giving insight into his life and offering advice to aspiring entrepreneurs and fellow business leaders.
The Campbelltown chamber meeting will be held at Club Menangle Country Club.
It will commence with pre-dinner drinks in the courtyard before the meeting when Rami will speak.
Campbelltown chamber has also announced Leanne Toohey from Captured by Lea will be joining the Board as events director until the next annual general meeting to be held in September.
