The Campbelltown chamber of commerce and industry has been around for almost 70 years.
It was established in 1949, so in 2019 it will celebrate 70 years of monthly meetings and business networking in the Campbelltown area.
But maybe it’s going to start celebrating 12 months early if the promotion for the chamber’s first get together for 2018 is any guide.
“Get the party started” is the headline for Campbelltown chamber’s meeting on Wednesday, January 24 in the swish Hermitage Restaurant.
The chamber promises it will be “a night of good old fashion networking! Join us and kick off 2018.’’

• There will be love in the air at the first gathering of The Greater Narellan business chamber on Wednesday, February 14 – Valentine’s Day.
As this is a breakfast meeting it is set for a 6.30am arrival and 7am start at Club Menangle.
“A doctor with a difference’’ will be the morning’s guest speaker at the first 2018 outing of Greater Narellan Business Chamber, which was established in 1991.
“Dr Rosie King is an author, academic, educator, researcher and medical practitioner and has specialised in the area of sex therapy for over 35 years,’’ according to the chamber promotion.
“Dr Rosie runs a private sexual therapy practice in Sydney and also runs workshops on sex and relationships, both nationally and internationally.
“She gives presentations to professionals and the general public on a range of topics covering both men’s and women’s sexual health and relationships.
“A dynamic and entertaining public speaker, she has shared her sincerity, advice and humour with thousands of men and women across the globe.’’
Local radio station C91.3 drive show presenters Christian and Bella will share the MC duties at the chamber breakfast.
