The vehicle failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated.

The pursuit was terminated a short time later on Appin Road due to safety concerns.

The vehicle was located abandoned about 10am in Biliken Way, Ambarvale, and a perimeter was established to locate the driver, with assistance from the Dog Unit.
