If you’re someone who’s looking for a job or a new career or just wants to upskill, the TAFE Campbelltown open day this Saturday is for you.
But it will also be a big day for the Campbelltown and Camden community, as everyone who attends will get to see what our local college has to offer.
Some of the highlights include:
• presentations from industry experienced teachers;
• hands-on activities and demonstrations;
• college tours;
• fun interactive displays;
• course advice;
• free entertainment and barbecue.
The day will start from 10am and will conclude at 2pm in the afternoon.
TAFE SWSi Institute director Peter Roberts says open days such as Saturday’s are the perfect way for members of the community to explore a new career path.
“Our open days will offer an opportunity for everyone to come and learn about our wide variety of more than 500 course options,’’ Mr Roberts said.
“Whether you’re a recent school leaver looking to start a career, or those looking to secure a promotion at work or perhaps change careers entirely, we have courses for everyone, whatever stage of life you’re at.”
Visitors to Campbelltown TAFE this Saturday will be able to explore around the college campus, check out its state of the art facilities and discover why students choose TAFE SWSi as their educational destination.
TAFE SWSi gives local people the chance to enrol across a wide range of exciting industries such as community services, hospitality, business, finance, manufacturing, transport, design, IT, interpreting, building and construction and much more.
There is plenty of free parking at Campbelltown TAFE and college tours will depart from the Information Desk (look out for the big red balloon) each hour between 10.30am and 1.30pm.
And if you don’t want to miss a thing on Saturday plan your day with TAFE’s online information schedule or print the whole program of information sessions.
