Let it go, let it go – Camden’s favourite ice Queen and Princess are planning their trip from Arendelle to Camden for the much-loved Winterfest.

The Scandinavian duo are set to arrive on Friday, July 2, which is when Camden Council says the region’s best winter party will kick off.

They’ll enjoy an ice-skating rink, ferris wheel, ice slide, snow globe photo booth and much more with local families and visitors until Sunday, July 4 at Onslow Oval.

“We’re so excited for our visit to Camden, coming up soon. We can’t wait to see you all and your cute little faces, we are going to have so much fun,” says the ice Queen.

“Don’t forget as it gets colder, it just means it’s getting sooner to our visit. See you soon everyone.”

Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said the inaugural Winterfest event, held in 2019, saw thousands of people attend over the three days at Larkin Place.

“The event’s new home this year, Onslow Oval, allows for more fun and games to be had,” says Cr Fedeli, who is pictured with the icy royals.

“This year’s event is truly bigger and better and it’s fantastic to know so many local children are so excited as they count down the days to Winterfest.

“I was lucky enough to meet the ice Queen and Princess recently and they cannot wait to meet you all and take some photos with you.

“Camden is such a beautiful area all year round and Winterfest is about celebrating its beauty in the colder months of the year while also having lots of fun.

“Local kids will have a world of fun with so much organised for them starting with ice skating right in the middle of Camden.

“I look forward to seeing you all out at Onslow Oval for some fun.”
