The Tigers Under 13 team is due to play in their grand final next weekend – weather permitting.

The Camden Tigers boys teams have swept all before them this season to help the club win promotion to Boys Youth League Two (BYL2) in 2026.

With still some finals matches to be played in the 2025 season, the Tigers have already locked in the BYL3 club championship, and promotion.

Their Under 13s, 14s, 15s, U16s, and U18s have either finished first or very close to it, making 2025 the Tigers’ most successful season.

The Tigers entered the Football NSW run BYL3 competition eight years ago. In 2026 they will be just one rung below the very top of the Boys Youth League structure in NSW.

It also means they will face off with another local club, the Macarthur Rams, whose teams are already participating in BYL2.

“This is a massive achievement for our club and the Macarthur region,’’ says Tigers president Rod Ciantar.

“It’s really exciting, and we can’t wait for next season, especially playing the Rams,’’ says Tigers president Rod Ciantar.

“This achievement is the result of years of dedication and teamwork, and we would like to thank every single player, parent, coach, staff member, and volunteer who has been part of this incredible ride,’’ he said.

“Promotion is not just a win for our teams and players, it’s a win for our entire club family and community.

“A special acknowledgment must go to our technical director Jamie Mair and reps manager Mitch Higgs, whose commitment, and countless hours of effort, have been instrumental in the success of our youth boys’ program.

“Their dedication to the club, and the boys – often at the expense of time with their own families – has shaped the pathway for our players and driven our club forward to where we are now, and we are truly grateful,’’ Mr Ciantar said.

The Tigers gathered at their home ground, Ron Dine Reserve, last week to celebrate promotion to BYL2.
