The Macarthur Square football camp kicked off today, and will continue until Sunday, January 24.

Run in partnership with Macarthur FC Bulls to celebrate the 2020-21 A-League season, the camp is open to boys and girls aged between 5 and 12.

And most importantly it’s free to participate in –  although bookings are required.

Macarthur Square’s Kellicar Lane outdoor space is the venue for this outdoor football experience, which will give local boys and girls the opportunity to take part in fun activities designed to show their skills or simply to learn football.

The program is being facilitated by Macarthur FC community football coaches who have been trained and endorsed by the club. These coaches facilitate Macarthur FC’s Bulls in Schools Program during the course of the year.

Sessions at Macarthur Square will run in 30 minute time slots, with maximum of 12 kids per session.

The 10am to 12pm sessions will be for kids aged between five and eight, while during 12pm to 2pm will be for those aged between 9 and 12.

This is a Covid safe activity, with an approved Covid-19 safety plan in place and all attendees will be temperature checked upon arrival and use hand sanitiser.

For those over 12 years old, face coverings must be worn when visiting Macarthur Square – refer to the NSW Health and NSW Government guidelines prior to your visit.

The organisers recommend wearing hats and appropriate clothing for outdoor weather. Sunscreen and water will be provided.

With limited spaces available over the next few days, bookings are essential. To book, click here.
